Sadly, 4x4 Season is here at Bertera Chrysler Jeep again.

Well it's here again. The soft white fluffy stuff is filling the streets and as all Northeasterners know, it's time for treacherous driving conditions and dead batteries. It is an inevitable fact of life for us up north to :"weather the weather". That's a pun. We wake up to the car not starting or the windshield wiper fluid empty. The sun glares the windshield as it reflects off the left over salt while you try to find a clear patch of window to peer out. Sounds funny and we have all done it but dangerous conditions require immediate action. Don't let procrastination ruin your winter, be proactive. Make sure that your car's battery is in good condition. Get what is called a load test to make sure that the cells internally are working properly. Keep your fluids filled and never use water in your windshield washer reservoir. Make sure you have a winter first aid kit as well as a roadside kit equipped with emergency hazard supplies. This should consist of jumper cables, portable roadside hazard signs, and do not forget to always keep your cell phone charged. We can't beat the cold, but we sure can be prepared! Be safe! If you need us, Bertera Jeep Dodge Chrysler Ram on 539 Riverdale St in West Springfield Ma can help you get prepared.
